A losing player at an online tournament at Absolute Poker asked for, and received, a hand history file from the site. The file showed the tournament winner either had the most amazing run of luck in the history of the playing card, or that someone helped the winner see hole cards.

The controversy over the Absolute Poker tournament has been simmering for about a month. It has bubbled over thanks to the site providing the history of hands dealt in that event.
Poker-King picked up the latest details, following an Absolute Poker denial of anyone using a superuser account to view hole cards. But then the hand history file made it to where other knowledgeable types could analyze it (spacing added for clarity):
After viewing just a couple of hands, you can come to the conclusion that Potripper was cheating. The evidence is overwhelming. It is just ridiculous, and I find it hard to believe that they didn't do a better job of hiding it.
Always getting his money in good, and never putting in an extra chip when he is behind in a hand.
Going over the top of a re-raiser of a board of 8d 6d 3s holding the Q 10 of clubs, when his opponents are holding K J and Q J. Holding pocket Jacks against an opponent holding A Q, and check folding on the turn when a Queen comes out.
Playing almost every hand when his opponents aren't dealt a big hand, but folding when an opponent at the table is dealt a big hand. Open folding KQ one hand (when an opponent is dealt AA), but raising 2/6 UTG when none of his opponents at the table have big hands.
Going through a stretch when he wins something ridiculous like 65 hands out of a total of 90 hands.
A poster at the 2+2 Forums provided a summary of events leading up to the uncovering the scandal. The big revelation comes when they find that the user ID that has been watching the tournament winner's table the whole time has an IP address for email that resolves to an Absolute Poker server hosted by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission.
"At the start of the tournament, for the two hands that user #363 is not observing the table, Potripper folds preflop," said 2+2 poster Josem. "He doesn't fold another hand pre-flop for 20 minutes, when he open-folds with KK held by a player behind him."
Everything adds up to a scorching accusation of cheating, either by a rogue employee or by Absolute Poker.
