Administrators can find out if their domains or associated netblocks are being identified as security risks based on their messaging or web behaviors.

Websites or networks that have machines hosting malware or bots may be carrying out malicious activity without the knowledge of the admins who maintain them. That could lead to those sites being placed on blacklists, which would hinder their site visits and ability to distribute email.
Secure Computing is making their Domain Health Check available to admins who want to verify the reputation of their web-facing computers. Information about domains comes from the TrustedSource database they operate.
TrustedSource gathers sender behavior from sites all over the Internet. The Domain Health Check being announced today provides a domain report for free to admins who sign up for the service.
That report shows a snapshot of a domain's perceived security and the reputation score associated with it. Along with the web and messaging behaviors observed, the report will offer suggestions on remediating security issues that occur.
Incidents of drive-by infections, where computers pick up malware simply by visiting a website, have been on the rise. The website for Dolphin Stadium, where the most recent Super Bowl was played, is a high-profile example of a site being hacked and altered to attack visitors.
That situation involved the animated cursor flaw, now patched by Microsoft. Site administrators did not know about this problem until it had made an impact on the public.
If the Domain Health Check works as advertised, and in a timely fashion, these types of situations should be fixed more rapidly for sites that subscribe to the service.
