Graphics Suddenly Don't Show Up In Browser

Question: I'm running Windows 98 SE. Up until two weeks ago I had no trouble opening any or all web pages on Netscape 7.0 or Internet Explorer 6. Then suddenly, without warning certain web pages would no longer open in either browser.
Certain graphics will no longer open on most pages that do open. Last night I downloaded the lastest version of Netscape and now the graphics that won't open on these pages display a red dot in the area where the graphic is supposed to open, while a green dot is displayed in the graphics that will open. Some pages won't open at all. I seem to remember checking a box somewhere (sorry I can't give you more help than that) that set the number of times that a page could redirect. I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.

If you are running any web-accelerator software or firewall, please uninstall them. (it may not be enough to simply disable them).
