Burning Tapes into CDs using your PC.
Hi Carey,
What am I doing wrong? Can you answer this? I hooked up my tape player to my PC to be able to record CD's off of the tapes I have. I got it hooked up ok, but I can't figure out how to do it.
I've asked for help through HP, but they just seem to confuse me and nothing they tell me seems to help. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
Thank You Directory:

A Better Java than Java?
When Java was first released is was hailed as a revolution. Many lawsuits and arguments followed, chiefly between Sun and Microsoft. With their C# language, Microsoft have created what Java should have been 6 years ago - but Sun have still failed to get it there. Directory:

Hotmail using C# - A HTTPMail client under .NET
The great thing about the POP mail protocol is that it is a well-documented open standard, making writing a mail client to collect mail from a POP box a relatively painless process. Armed with basic knowledge of POP, or SMTP it is possible to write proxies which do a variety of useful things, such filter out spam or junk mail, or provide an e-mail answering machine service. Unfortunately, in trying to write a standalone client for Hotmail, the world's most popular web-based mailing system, the fact that no POP gateway exists rapidly becomes a problem. Directory:

The Problem with J2EE
J2EE is a great thing. As a rich collection of technologies to support the development and deployment of server-side business logic written in Java, it is a total marvel. Here at Cape Clear, we believe that while J2EE is great, it isn't the answer to every problem, specifically it is overkill as an infrastructure to deploy Web Services. This article explains why. Using the Network Functions in C# (Part I - User Functions)
Welcome to another "How-to" article in Visual C#.NET. This article will focus on the Network functions within the Win32 API library associated with Network Management. The first thing is to point out is that there are two ways to manage users using the .NET Framework, the first being the Active Directory method, as you will notice you need to have Active Directory Installed and if you were managing users on a small network or on a stand alone station Active Directory won't be install and it would be not worth installing it. Electronic currency using SIM Access Profile
You might remember an ad campaign in which a woman approaches a soft drink vending machine alongside a young male executive. The executive rummages through his pants pocket to find, to his dismay, that he has no change to purchase a cool drink on a hot afternoon. The woman then pulls out her cell phone, presses a few buttons, and a soda can drops down from the vending machine. The ad was meant to show a future of a seamless, interactive world. The SIM Access Profile, released by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), makes such transactions a reality, allowing a consumer to use a cellular device to obtain, for example, a 50-cent soft drink without spending 25 cents on a cell phone airtime charge.
